DJ Harkay
Born in Kathmandu, Nepal - Harkay indulged his passion for music from a young age listening to Blues, Reggae, Rock & Heavy Metal of the 80s. His dad bought him a guitar when he was 14, and since that day music has been a massive part of his life. After attending several raves during the 1990s, listening to the likes of Prodigy, Orbital, Paul Van Dyk, Talvin Singh, Q-bert, and spinning sessions at Trance Sandhya parties in Minneapolis, he has been addicted to djin', mixin' & producing music. Harkay is based out of Bay Area, CA and his styles include House, Asian Underground/Massive, Kollywood/Bollywood Mix. Djin' took Harkay to several states all across the USA from Portland to St.Louis, Washington DC to Denver and Minnesota to California. He is the founder of Himalayanvibe.com and has promoted successful events like Prashant Tamang SFO 2008, Namaste 2063 & Shivaratri parties in Minneapolis with huge crowd turnouts. Some of the venues he has spun at are TONIC (Mpls), Level (Mpls), Nochee (Mpls), Garcia's (ANA Convention 2003 @ Denver), ANA Convention 2007 @ Los Angeles, ANA Convention 2008 @ Baltimore, Everest Café (DC), 1905 (KTM), J Bar (KTM), Latin Quarters (KTM), Club Platinum (KTM) & many more. His biggest ambition is to organize the ultimate electronic gathering - the highest in the world ... at the base camp of Mt.Everest bringing together artists from all corners of the globe.

DJ Gorkhali
During his High School days in Nepal, DJ Gorkhali listened n attended Rock, Punk, and Metal concerts, and always dreamed of forming his own Metal Band. He moved to USA to go to college in 1992 and started listening to Electronica and Hip Hop in college, which revived his interest in music again. In the summer of 1999, his Metal dream transformed into the realms of djin' when his friend Tashi Tsering gave him a pair of turntables and a mixer. Since that moment he began djin' @ house parties for friends & family as a hobby, until 2004 when he switched from vinyl to CDJs, that is when he thought about djin' professionally. He enjoys listening to all genres of music from all over the world. He feels music is a universal language with no boundaries because it's all about feeling it deep inside you. He enjoys mixing and creating beats as a hobby and is about to make it his part-time profession. He has organized and Dj'd at various parties in DC, Maryland and Virginia; Mt. Everest Café (DC), Front Page Bar (VA), Carpool Bar (VA), Jaxx Club (VA), Kathmandu Kitchen (MD), Club Confetti (MD) and various gatherings and shows in the DC metro area; as well as performed in many ANA and NeASA/ANMA conventions in the USA. His only reason to DJ is his love for music, partying and meeting new people. He believes by organizing parties it brings together people from all walks of life, like a harmonic blend of musical keys. His goal is to make the crowd dance to his beats & feels that if the crowd is responding, he has done his job. His website is http://www.djgorkhali.com
