On behalf of Nepalis of Northern California the organizing committee of 2009 and Association of Nepalis in America (ANA) convention, we are very excited that this year we are able to bring the ANA convention for the very first time to the San Francisco Area.  We would like to share some of the details of this upcoming convention with you and request your valuable support.

The 27th ANA convention will be held from Wednesday July 01 to Sunday July 5th 2009 in San Francisco Bay Area at the Marriott Hotel (5 star luxurious hotel) and the adjoining Oakland convention center in Oakland. It is conveniently located near BART, and 30 minutes from San Francisco Airport and 15 minutes from Oakland airport. We would like the participants to enjoy a one-of-a-kind three exciting days both for business and pleasures. Besides taking active part in the convention, many are expected to take this opportunity to experience beautiful San Francisco, one of the top vacation destinations. This convention also aims to raise awareness of Nepali issues to an audience that reaches beyond the typical ANA convention by bringing together the Nepali Diaspora and Americans alike.

This year, the ANA convention will be one of the biggest Nepali gatherings to be held outside of Nepal.  We expect a rolling crowd of

around 7000 people during the convention, introducing ample opportunities for sponsors to reach the Nepali masses. The 27th ANA

convention will be the most heavily marketed and talked about event outside of Nepal through premier Nepali websites, news media and grass root organizations all over the U.S. This annual convention has traditionally been an excellent opportunity for businesses and sponsors to introduce and promote their products and ideas to a large numbers of audience and prospective clients in a convention setting.
